A real business?

Crap.

Yes, I'm looking into doing this film correctly. Which means running it as a real business.

So much to do....

I actually ordered "Filmmaking for Dummies"... seriously.

Kansas Gothic (The first 40 pages)

The feedback has been very good on the first 40 pages. I'm hoping this screenplay isn't any longer than 90 pages.. *fingers crossed*

Here's Gooding's response via email:

1- as long as keep the drag queens in all will go well.

I'm tired of excuses...

I get asked a lot, "How's your movie comin' along?" And then I give some long answer (excuse).

Trust me, no one is as tired of hearing the excuses as I am. But, I am moving ahead.

Buying the Mac laptop has helped tremendously. Now, I can sit in front of the TV AND write a screenplay. Awesome.

I did send out the first pages from KANSAS GOTHIC to a few people and I'm getting positive feedback.

It's all baby steps.

The feature film will happen. It has to.

Mercy and Grave.

These two guys will be characters in KANSAS GOTHIC.

They a have a paranormal spiritual group called, Kansas Gothic. They are Goth, but probably way to old to pull it off effectively.

Do they possess the powers they claim to have or are they full of crap like most in the "industry"?

We'll have to see?

We do know one thing... they are geeks. Hard core.

Kansas Gothic is underway...

I'm well into writing KANSAS GOTHIC.

I do believe that it will be the screenplay that we will shoot. Of course that could change at any time.

I'm really just trying to write something that we can shoot without driving ourselves crazy and wanting to blow our brains out from stress. And, so far, this one is a lot more "doable".

And, I'm writing it with most all the same people/friends/actors from The New Black.

When I get some feedback I'll let you know.

I love TV waaaay too much.

Me sitting at my computer is always battling the urge to be "one with my couch" and watch TV. I really freekin' love TV. Anyway, I just ordered a new Mac Book Pro. So, I can sit on my couch AND work on my computer.... we'll see? It's probably just another excuse. I hope not. I need to get more shit done.

I love TV but I'm pretty sure that it's not my "calling" to do nothin' but watch it...

But, man do I love TV......
